October Monthly Update – A Month of Rescues, Recovery & Light | Helping Hands for Speechless Souls
October was a month filled with challenges, hope, and countless moments that reminded us why our mission matters.
Despite the festive rush and increasing rescue calls, our team continued working day and night to ensure that every injured, abandoned, or suffering animal got the care they deserved.

Throughout October, our team responded to multiple emergency calls from different parts of Haridwar.
We rescued animals suffering from:
Road accidents
Skin infections
Maggot wounds
Viral illnesses
Starvation and neglect
Abandonment during festive rush
Every life mattered.
Every rescue taught us something new.
And every recovery strengthened our commitment.
Several of these animals are still under our care, healing slowly with proper treatment, nutrition, and warmth.
🪔 ✨ Diwali Celebration With Our Shelter Babies
This Diwali wasn’t just about lights and sweets — it was about giving love and safety to the speechless souls who depend on us.
We celebrated Diwali at the shelter with:
Special meals for all dogs
Extra blankets and mattresses
Noise-free safe zones for sensitive animals
Treats and playtime
Lighting diyas and praying for their healthy future
For many of the animals who have known only pain, this Diwali became a moment of peace and warmth.
❤️ A Heartfelt Thanks to a Generous Soul
This month brought us a blessing we didn’t expect.
A single generous donor stepped forward and helped us clear all our pending dues, including:

Shelter maintenance costs
